The Sky Hotel - Auckland, NZ

The skyline of the biggest city in New Zealand is defined by the Sky Tower, which is the tallest building in the south hemosphere. It is part of the Sky Hotel complex - where we stayed for the one night in Auckland. There are no hotel rooms in the tower itself. There are three observatory decks - one of which is outdoors. Scary and windy.
The scariest part of the whole tower is the glass floor in the main observatory deck. Even though they claim that the glass floor is as strong as the concrete floor we were standing on, it didn't make me feel any better (see 2nd picture above). It feels strange to see the world far below your feet.
