We landed in Sydney at 6:00 AM in the morning on Friday, August 27, 1999. The weather was a little chilly and it was raining. Albert called several hotels in Sydney about availability and prices and soon we were heading to the Radisson Hotel. The hotel personnel was very nice and friendly - we checked in at 7 AM and although we could not go to our room until the afternoon, they let us use their shower, gave us towels and then some advice on where to go in Sydney for nice friday breakfast. Soon we were off to the Sydney streets. |
