Our street is quite nice. Such a typical Queens as you can see in some movies. As you can see there is a lot of cars along both sides of the road. If they were not there the street would be even nicer. Believe it or not, children are playing on this street right in front of the apartment building. We have several trees here, which is very good an I hope that the small ones (new ones) will grow soon so that it is even nicer here.
We have a lot of plants as you can see. They are almost all habaneros - the hottest peppers in the world. Albert likes spicy food. It was his idea to throw some habanero seeds into a little pot and you see yourselves ... we have a jungle at home. We have also a bird feeder outside, but the landlord doesn't like it. When birds are eating seeds they make a big mess and it is all falling down to landlord's garden.
The latest visitor to our house was Pauline James (Albert's mom). She had a stopover in New York On her way from England back to Florida. She liked our house, she cleaned here a little, though. Albert took her all over New York and around Astoria.

We had a breakfast on sunday with friends of us - George and Mirka in the nearby diner. The diner is called "Modern Age Diner". I don't like food there at all, but everybody else seems to like it. Oh well.
